With over 20 years of combined experience in the print and web industries, Manifest is uniquely positioned to provide your business with effective creative solutions to a variety of design demands. It’s true what they say… two heads are better than one!
Philip Downer
Philip is the lead web developer for Manifest Creative. He uses open source technology, most often PHP and MySQL, to develop complex functionality for the websites we develop. A fourth generation Montanan and natural-born geek, Phil has never found a sensible reason to leave the mountains he loves. Besides, his twelve siblings could never bear to see him go!
Philip is a familiar face to many Montana business owners, and has gained a reputation for finding everyday solutions to complex problems. He has been developing websites in some form since the late 1990’s and has developed a strong passion for small businesses and startups. He believes that the best way to stay relevant is to be constantly learning.
When Philip is not at work you will likely find him kayaking or rafting on one of our beautiful rivers, fly fishing or exploring the mountains around Bozeman. An avid outdoorsman, Philip enjoys combining his love for nature with his part-time passion for photography. Many of the photographs you’ll see on our Flickr photostream were taken by him.
David Howlett
David grew up on the plains of Wyoming before calling the mountains of Montana home. A natural obsession for doodling and sketching, coupled with a seemingly limitless imagination and a love for Macs, eventually developed into a career.
As lead designer for Manifest Creative, David has designed logos and participated in the brand strategy for many of our clients. As an Adobe Illustrator guru, David excels at crafting business identity that can be utilized across a broad spectrum of different media types. David’s work has won numerous awards, including top-honors from the Gillette News Record, Montana Newspaper Association and most recently was featured on the LogoOfTheDay.com website for his work with the Esperanza Center.
While motorcycling, snowboarding and fishing are just a few of his passions, David is the resident back-flip expert and has even been known to show off his trampoline acrobatics at various times.
